With summer in full swing, most families are spending more time outdoors, and keeping your family safe can become challenging to say the least. According to Powell Pediatrics, there are a few things that you can do to keep your family healthy during the lazy days of summer.
Slapping on the sunscreen every two hours and after swimming and sweating is vital if you want to provide the best defense against harmful UV rays. Make sure that your kids stay covered up, wear hats, and try to stay in the shade during 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Stay hydrated. Water is the best choice, but sports drinks are okay especially if it is extremely hot. Remember, if you feel thirsty you are already on your way to becoming dehydrated.
